Scaffolding includes an administrator setting, which allows Confluence administrators to set the default setting for the Edit Contents mode.
Accessing the Scaffolding Settings Window
- Go to ⚙ gear icon > Manage apps.
- In the sidebar, under Scaffolding Configuration, click Settings.
- At the Scaffolding Settings screen, click Edit to start changing settings.
Changing Edit Contents Mode
At the Scaffolding Settings screen, you can select the preferred Edit Contents mode:
- In-page mode
- Classic mode
