To kickstart your Security and Encryption for Confluence experience, it is vital to ensure the application configuration is prepared correctly.

You can print this checklist to take note of the information as you go through the installation of the application.

The Security and Encryption for Confluence installation is done within your Confluence instance:

  • Generate the license from My Atlassian and installing Atlassian Licensing on the Manage apps page.

The license application activates your installation of Security and Encryption for Confluence

By default, your Confluence instance password will be used to decrypt the Security and Encryption for Confluence macros. You can alternatively use a Single sign-on solution (SSO) or a custom authentication method to decrypt the macro.
