This macro implements the LaTeX Unit mode. Formulas or symbols that are part of a paragraph are written Inline math mode (e.g. "\tau").

To work with LaTeX Unit, you must install the LaTeX Math application. For more information, see Installation.

LaTeX Unit

In the LaTeX formatted math, enter the unit.

For example: 32 mg kg^{-1}. Preview is automatically rendered.

You can paste AsciiMath or MathML to have it converted to Latex automatically.

Creating LaTeX Unit Macro

To create a LaTeX Unit, Perform the following steps:

  1. Create a new page or go to Edit the page where you want to create an equation.

2. Click the + icon and search for the LaTeX Unit macro.

(or) you can type { latex, the list with latex macro suggestions is displayed, and you can select the LaTeX Unit macro.

 

3. Select LaTeX Unit and Click Insert. The Insert 'LaTeX Unit' Macro window is displayed.

4. Enter the unit in the box.

5. Click the Insert button.

Editing LaTeX Unit Macro

To edit a LaTeX Unit perform the following:

You must be in the Edit mode to edit a macro. 

  1. Click the Edit button. The Edit 'LaTeX Unit' Macro window is displayed.

2. You can change the parameter and click the Save button.

Alternatively, You can edit the equation in the equation box that appears when you click the equation.

Deleting LaTeX Unit Macro

To delete a LaTeX Unit, select the unit and click the Remove button. The unit is deleted.

You must be in the Edit mode to delete a macro.
