When the filters used to specify the scope of the report returns a relatively large number of results, it might take a while to prepare the report. That’s where Background Reports enter the scene: You can create reports that are running asynchronously in the background while you go about your business.
To create a background Time Tracking Report:
1. Create your Time Tracking Report.
2. From the dropdown menu of Generate, click Create Background report.
3. Enter a name for your background report. Click Generate.
4. Your report will be prepared in the background, and you’ll receive a notification when it’s ready.
4. To view the report or its status, go to Background Reports.
