Welcome to Assets & Inventory Plugin for Jira Cloud! We’re happy to see you here.

Assets & Inventory Plugin (AIP) provides a seamless integration of asset and inventory tracking within Jira, and enables you to link assets with issues in Jira Service Management. With AIP, you can effortlessly manage the complete lifecycle of your assets and inventory, from acquisition to disposal, all within the familiar environment of Jira. Define your own forms, enter your assets/inventories according to these forms, and link issues with assets/inventories. AIP comes with handy reports and gadgets, as well as import and export functionality.

Before You Begin

How to Install Assets & Inventory Plugin for Jira Cloud

Installing AIP is like installing any other Jira app (see Managing add-ons in the Jira documentation).

  1. Log in to your Jira Cloud instance as a Jira Administrator.

  2. Select the Jira Settings cog in the top right of your Jira instance and select Apps. The Find New Apps page displays.

  3. Type Assets & Inventory Plugin in the search field and press Enter.

  4. Click Try it free to install your app.

  5. Click Start Free Trial. A confirmation message displays once it installs successfully.

After installation, AIP will create default asset types and collections which you can use later on.
