Adding a template

1. Go to the "Manage apps" menu of the Jira Administration section :

Find the administration menu icon on the upper right side of your screen. Once you click on it, select the "Manage apps" option.

2. Go to the Gaia Configuration page :

From the menu on the left side of the screen, find the "Gaia" section, click on "Gaia Configuration":

3. Adding a template :

On the upper right side of the page, click on the "Add" button. The following dialog opens :

Most of the configuration options refer directly to Jira project configuration items. To get a description of each configuration option, go to the Configuration Options Description section of this guide.

Make sure you enter a template name and a template description, as they are required to save a template.  All other options can be left to their default values.

Once you've configured your template, you can click on the save button.

You should see your new template in the template list:

Creating your own issue files

If you want to create your own Jira issues file or your own Confluence Space files, refer to this guide for Jira and this guide for Confluence.

What's next

You can now add as many templates as needed.

The next step is up to you. You can edit your template, copy your template or even delete it if you no longer need it.
