Scenario
Create content with MultiExcerpt Fast Excerpt (Block):
This example illustrates how to create a block macro in a template page and reproduce the macro as a reference on the different project pages.
Steps
The following steps demonstrate how to create a block excerpt using Multiexcerpt Fast Excerpt (Inline) macro and Multiexcerpt Fast Include (Inline) macro features:
| Step 1As a Confluence Administrator or MultiExcerpt user: Create a template page or you can use the existing project page or a template page to create block content. In this example, we are using the existing template page. Type ‘/' and search for Multiexcerpt Fast Excerpt (Block) macro or use the '+’ option in the editor main toolbar and search for Multiexcerpt Fast Excerpt (Block) macro. Select the Multiexcerpt Fast Excerpt (Block) macro. Specify a name for the Multiexcerpt macro. Add the content into the macro body. Click Publish.

| Step 2Include the Multiexcerpt macros in the project page or create a page if one does not already exist. In this example, the project page exists. Navigate to the project page. Type ‘/' and search for Multiexcerpt Fast Include (Block) macro or use the '+’ option in the editor main toolbar and search for Multiexcerpt Fast Include (Block) macro. Select the Multiexcerpt Fast Include (Block) macro. Select the project Page where the Multiexcerpt Fast Excerpt (Block) was created. Select the Multiexcerpt that was created. Click Insert.
