Both XHTML and wiki-style formats are still supported.

However it is important to note that excerpts defined with the two separate XHTML and wiki-markup formats do not interact with each other.

For example a multiexcerpt defined in wiki-style format cannot be rendered by an XHTML style multiexcerptinclude macro. This will be fixed in a future version.

Work around

Though hardly ideal you can wrap an old style wiki markup "multi-excerpt" in a new Rich Macro style "multi-excerpt" and then reference the same content from either type of multi-excerp-include as shown:
