Overview
When using Comala Publishing to manage and publish pages from a source space in Confluence Cloud, internal and external links are handled carefully to ensure they work correctly after publishing.
When the link destination is a URL and is to another page in the source space
the published page link points to the target space page version, updating any display text and URL accordingly
these links are automatically updated each time the page is published to prevent broken links
Links to pages in other spaces or external locations remain unchanged when publishing a page. Different Confluence link formats in the source space page may affect how Confluence displays the link on the published target space page.
In-page links to headers or anchors in another page in the source space added as the destination URL in a Confluence link type are not updated.

In-page hyperlinks to headings/anchors in another source space page are not updated to the target space when a page is published.
Example
In a source space page, Product Lifecycle, a link to a page header, User interface in the Product MVP is added as an in-page link.

The in-page link in the Product Lifecycle published target space for this page header is not updated to the target space Product MVP page.
In-page links created in macros
In-page links on a source space page created using macros such as the children or page tree macros are updated. When using Confluence page macros to add dynamic content to source space content, for example, the content by label macros, set a filter in the macro as the current space. On publishing the page, the macro displays content in the target space.
