Does the Latex Math app make any external API calls?

No.

Will unsubscribing from an app without uninstalling it have an impact on the existing documents created using LaTeX Math?

Yes, unsubscribing from the app without uninstalling, will impact the existing documents. However, this would result in the app lacking a valid license. As a consequence, when attempting to render the macro on existing pages, an error message may appear stating "Error rendering macro: No valid license found for LaTeX Math app." Consequently, existing pages with the app may not be able to display mathematical equations correctly.

What configuration changes are necessary to address the issue of occasional display of expressions as LaTeX code instead of rendering properly?

Review the configuration settings of Latex Math and attempt to switch the preferred output from MATHJAX to PNG.

Does the Latex Math app provide a mobile application as part of its services for the cloud version of the app?

No.

Does the Latex Math team have access to or process client data used by the app?

Yes, macro content is logged and is kept for seven days.
