This guide explains how to manage locations for your assets. Locations help you track the physical whereabouts of your assets.
Add a location
Navigate to Assets > Settings > Locations.
Click Create location.
Fill in the fields.
Is active? – You can uncheck this when a location is no longer available, but you still want to keep it in your system.
Is External – Check this if the location is not managed by your company.Click Save.
The location you’ve created will appear in the Location menu on the Create asset and Update asset screens.
