By default, monday admins always have access to the app.

Steps

When you open BigPicture for the first time, you can grant access to BigPicture to monday members.

Security

  • I don’t need to restrict access to BigPicture → all monday members are granted access to BigPicture and its configuration.

  • Restrict BigPicture access to specific users → selected monday members and teams are assigned BigPicture admin role (get access to BigPicture and its configuration).

Additional Context

I don’t need to restrict access to BigPicture

When you select this option, BigPicture App roles are inactive.

Every Monday member is treated as App Admin - they can access all BigPicture configuration and administration screens and see all the boxes.

App security settings can be changed on the following screen:

  1. Click the Advanced Settings (wrench icon wrench icon.png) in the top right of the screen.

  2. Select Security.

Restrict BigPicture access to specific users

When you select this option, BigPicture restricts access based on app roles assigned to monday users. App role is required.

Monday members without an App Admin role must be assigned an App User role or App Resource Admin role to access BigPicture. This can be done after the initial configuration is complete.

App security settings can be changed on the following screen:

  1. Click the Advanced Settings (wrench icon wrench icon.png) in the top right of the screen.

  2. Select Security.
