Create a new page using Scaffolding Blueprints

Overview

Scaffolding blueprints offer preset page templates to quickly get you started. These templates come with ready-to-use macros to help you easily create, manage, and organize your Confluence content.

We'll create a new page using the Meeting notes blueprint in this tutorial.

  1. Navigate to the top menu bar of your confluence space.

  2. Select the (blue star) next to the Create button.

  3. Click Create from template.

  1. In the Create window, choose Blueprints by Scaffolding.

  2. Click Next.

  1. In the next pop-up window, you can choose a pre-populated Scaffolding blueprint to use.

Add a Scaffolding template

  1. Click Meeting Notes.

  2. Click Next.

Configuration window is displayed.

Configuration

You can choose View Sample to see an example.

  1. Enter a suitable title for the new page.

  2. Click Create.

  3. The page is created using the blueprint.

Edit contents

Choose Edit contents to change its content. 

  1. After publishing, choose Edit to change the page title (instead of selecting Edit contents).
