Create a new page using Scaffolding Blueprints

Overview

Scaffolding blueprints offer preset page templates to quickly get you started. These templates come with ready-to-use macros to help you create, manage and organize your Confluence content more easily.

In this tutorial, we'll create a new page using the Meeting notes blueprint.

In your Confluence space top menu bar

  • open the ellipsis menu next to the Create button

  • choose the Create from template button

In the Create window

  • choose Blueprints by Scaffolding

  • choose Next

In the next pop-up window, you can choose a pre-populated Scaffolding blueprint to use.

Add a Scaffolding template

For this example

  • choose Meeting Notes

  • choose Next

Configuration window is displayed.

You can choose View sample to see an example.

  • enter a suitable title for the new page

  • choose Create

The page is created using the blueprint.

Choose Edit contents to change its content. 

After publishing, choose Edit to change the page title (instead of selecting Edit contents).
