Report purpose: Determine the Number of tickets being created vs number of tickets getting resolved. Helps to identify if the capacity is enough to support the demand.
Instructions
The report is created using Reports and Timesheets for Jira add-on
Go to Jira → Reports and Timesheets → Custom Report
Change the report type to Trend
In the next screen, Created/Resolved is selected by default in the Field drop-down
In the Date range drop-down, select “Last N Days” and in the box enter number 60
In the Interval drop-down, select Daily for a daily trend or Weekly for a week-by-week trend
In the Output format drop-down, select Bar/Line/Table depending upon your requirement. For this example, we selected Line
Click Run to view results
