This article explains how to add line breaks in the Description field any multi-line text field of an issue using the ClonePlus for Jira app.

Instructions

1. Log in to Jira as an Administrator.
2. Click Cog menu  > Issues.
3. Click Clone Plus from  from the sidebar on the left and click Edit in the Clone plus properties tab.
   
4. Enter the required some text in Descriptiona multi-line text field as required. Use the '\n' (newline character) to display text on a new line. Here is As an example, the following figure shows how you can use the newline character to set Description:

5. Click Save to apply the changes and perform and perform the Bobswift Clone operation.

The description now shows a new line in the description. The output of multi-line text field now shows text on multiple lines as specified. As per the given example, the Description is set as follows:
