Displays the specified field/custom field within the linked issue. |
The Linked Issue Field displays the number of linked (with specified link type) issuesthe specified field/custom field within the linked issue.
To create a Linked Issue Field
- Navigate to to Jira Admin > Add-ons Manage Apps > Enhancer Plugin For Jira Menu > Custom Field Configuration and go to the Comment tabFields (JEP).
- Click on the
button. - Click on the Parent/Linked Issue Custom Fields button and select Linked Issue Field.

- /Epic Issue tab on the left-hand side of the dialogue.
- Select Linked Issue Field, then click Add custom field.
- Fill in the dialog box:
- Create a Name for the field.
- Select the issue link typeIssue Link Type.
- Select Field/Custom Field.
- Click on the Add the Save Custom Field button.
- You can define as many comment fields Linked Issue Field as you want.
This custom field can be used to sort or search in issue navigator.
