helps you bind a Jira Project to a Salesforce Connection.

You will need to bind a Jira Project to a connection before you can associate a Jira issue with a Salesforce Object and synchronize the two.

If you haven't done so, consult the Setting up a connection to Salesforce page before continuing.

  2. On the Bindings screen, click +Add Binding in the top right corner.

The New Binding dialog window will pop up.

  1. If this is your first connection, the Bind your Jira project with Salesforce panel appears, providing a brief explanation of the step and a link to more information. You can also click +Add binding here to open the New Binding dialog.

  2. Choose a Project you want to bind

  2. Click Add.

  1. Connector begins automatically importing compact layouts. When finished, you are directed to the Mapping Configuration page to check your Mapping settings. For more information, see Configuring Entity Mappings and Field Mappings.

Choose the issue types for which you want a default mapping to be created. Click Create.
If successful, the Bindings screen will display the binding you just added:
