Appfire add-ons contains contain detailed logs which that help us to identify and locate any problems you may encounter while using our products. In JIRAJira, detailed logging is disabled for add-ons by default.

Changes to logging levels are temporary and will be reset upon server restart.
Enabling DEBUG logging generates a significant amount of data. To avoid large log files, it's recommended to:

Jira logs are located at: <JIRA_HOME>/log/atlassian-jira.log
Alternatively, you can use the free Last Log for Jira" plugin to view logs directly from the JIRA Administration page. You won't need to do administration page, eliminating the need for SSH, Remote Desktop, or FTP to get the logsaccess.
