This article explains how to add line breaks in the description field using in any multi-line text field of an issue using the ClonePlus for Jira app.

Instructions

1. Login as a Jira Administrator and click Log in to Jira as an Administrator.
2. Click Cog menu  > Issues.
3. Click Clone Plus from  from the sidebar on the left and edit click Edit in the Clone plus properties tab.

4. Enter some text in a multi-line text field as required. Use the '\n' (newline character) for to display text on a line break and enter the text.

5. Click Save to apply the changes .Perform and perform the Bobswift clone Clone operation.Image Removed
   The description output will be as following:
   After applying the line break:

   Without line break:

The multi-line text field now shows text on multiple lines as specified. As per the given example, the Description is set as follows:
