This article provides the step-by-step instructions on getting the to get custom field IDs for custom fields, through Jira UI.

Instructions

  1. Log in to Jira as an Administratoradministrator.
  2. Navigate to Administration → > Issues → > Custom Fields.
  3. Click on the Cog wheel (Image RemovedImage Added) and hover over Configure or Screens option and hover over either the Configure or Screens option.
  4. Observe the URL that gets displayed , at the bottom left of the browser window.  Check below example screenshot for reference:

  5. Click Configure to retrieve the custom field ID, by clicking on the configure option. The URL contains the custom field ID , as shows belowshown:
