Introducing HTML for Jira cloud

HTML for Jira cloud allows you to embed and display HTML content in your Jira issues or dashboard gadgets. The app makes it easy to create, add, or attach live content from multiple sources that update in real-time so you don’t have to manually refresh HTML.

Add HTML in Jira issues

Users can embed HTML into a Jira issue either by creating HTML from scratch or reading from an attachment containing HTML code. The resulting HTML output is instantly displayed in the Jira issue view, making it interactive and helping users quickly advance with the issue without switching between multiple sources. For more information, refer to User guide.

Users can perform one of the following:

• Create HTML from scratch

Use HTML to create a Jira gadget

HTML for Jira enables administrators to create Jira dashboard gadgets to display HTML content. This allows for custom dashboards that include additional information such as calendars, videos, maps, HR links and more.

Administrators can also control the usage of Javascript or whitelisted URLs in the HTML code. For more information, refer to Administrator guide.
