Power BI Connector - Permissions for Jira

The Power BI Connector app requires the following Jira permissions.

• READ

  • ✅ Only reads the Jira data.

  • ✅ To use the app, you need the minimum Jira Project “Browse” permission.

• ACT_AS_USER

  • Refresh the data in Power BI Desktop using scheduled refreshes, even when the user is offline.

• ADMIN

  • Jira Administrator privileges are required to manage the Power BI Connector App Settings.

Power BI Desktop: The actions performed on data in Power BI Desktop do not impact the Jira data.
