This article explains how to use Run CLI for Jira 's action in a workflow validator.

Instructions

1. Log in into the Jira instance as an Administrator in your Jira instance.
2. Edit the workflow where Run CLI is to be added as a validator.
3. Select the transition on to which the CLI validator should needs to be added and then click validatorthe link Validators.
   
4. Click Add validator and select CLI action from the list of validation options.

2. Add the CLI action as per the requirement and save the settings. As an example, add a comment to an issue using the Run CLI action if the custom field was set to A.

3. Once the transition is performed, you can see the result as per the condition added for validation.
