menu, select Request New Project.

The Request new project screen is displayed, listing each project template that has been defined by the Jira Administrator.

Click Request

next to the intended template to begin your request for a new project. The following screen is displayed so that you can indicate the details of your new project:

To assign a user as Project Owner, start typing into the field provided to select a user from the auto-suggestions. If an Administrator has configured

additional questions about your request, then answers to those must be filled in as well.
Info Note that:
- Project Key is generated automatically as you provide Project Name.
- Project Owner is displayed only when your administrator adds group(s) as owners in the Project Create Permissions tab of Project Template Settings.

If you want to drop your request,
