This article helps you how to automatic assign to the Project Lead using create on transition app.
Instructions
Go to project settings and then select the component lead from the components section. See the below screenshot for your reference.
Then go to the post function with respect to the project and click on the Detailed Fields section as shown below.
Select the Components as new and Assignee as Automatic as shown below.
