This article explains how to use attachment parameter and read it from the current page using the app, Flash for Confluence.

- Log in as a Confluence administrator.
Navigate to > Find new apps and search for "Flash for Confluence". > Manage Apps Page. > Add-ons Ensure you have Flash for Confluence app installed in your Confluence instance. If not, you can go to Find new apps and search for "Flash for Confluence" to install it.
Note - The
- Flash for Confluence app supports .swf files as they are designed for efficient delivery over the web.
For example, make sure to enable Flash
- files are allowed to run by navigating to
- the Google Chrome browser → Settings → Privacy and security → Site settings → Flash → Allow or as shown below.
- Similarly, if you are using any other browser, please ensure that the Flash files are allowed to be played in the browser by allowing the necessary permission.
Log in as any user in your Confluence instance and add an attachment to the page.
Insert and Edit the Flash macro.
- Enter the file name of the attachment in the Location of Flash file and click on preview.
- Save the macro settings and publish the page to see the required result.
