This article explains how to use Run CLI for Jira's action in a workflow validator.
Instructions
- Log in as an Administrator in your Jira instance.
- Edit the workflow where Run CLI to be added as a validator.
- Select the transition on which the CLI validator should be added and then click validator.
- Click Add validator and select CLI action from the list of validation options.
...
- Add the CLI action as per the requirement and save the setiing. We considered an example of adding a comment on the issue using the Run CLI action.
- Once the transition is performed, you can see the result as per the validation condition added.
