This article tells shows you how to restrict the SQL Datasource profile (Which are from in the SQL for confluence Confluence app) to a specific user /or a group.

Instructions

  1. Create a Confluence page which that contains the an SQL macro with the a Datasource Profileprofile. Here in the below Screenshot screenshot, the DataSource datasource configured is AuroraDB. Here is the link on How how the SQL Macro is configured.
  2. Apply the Viewing and editing restricted to the users/group restriction, 'Can view and edit'  to particular users and groups based on the requirement. 
  3. Navigate to the to General Configurations → Configurations > BOB SWIFT CONFIGURATION → CONFIGURATION > Macro Security to apply the restrictions to the DataSourcedatasource.
  4. Configure the similar restrictions to the DataSource dataSource profile in Macro Security under Secured Macro.
  5. Once the restrictions are applied, users who are part of the restrictions will not be able to view the SQL macro content.
