This article tells shows you how to restrict the SQL Datasource profile (Which are from in the SQL for confluence Confluence app) to a specific user /or a group.
Instructions
- Create a Confluence page which that contains the an SQL macro with the a Datasource Profileprofile. Here in the below Screenshot screenshot, the DataSource datasource configured is AuroraDB. Here is the link on How how the SQL Macro is configured.
- Apply the Viewing and editing restricted to the users/group restriction, 'Can view and edit' to particular users and groups based on the requirement.
- Navigate to the to General Configurations → Configurations > BOB SWIFT CONFIGURATION → CONFIGURATION > Macro Security to apply the restrictions to the DataSourcedatasource.
- Configure the similar restrictions to the DataSource dataSource profile in Macro Security under Secured Macro.
- Once the restrictions are applied, users who are part of the restrictions will not be able to view the SQL macro content.
