This article explains how to get provides the step-by-step instructions on getting the custom field ID values IDs for custom fields, through Jira UI UI.

Instructions

  1. login Log in to Jira as an Administrator.
  2. Navigate to Administration → Issues → Custom Fields Fields.
  3. Click the cogon the Cog wheel (Image Added) and hover over Configure or Screens option.
  4. Observe the URL that gets displayed, at the bottom left of the browser window.Please see  Check below example screenshot for reference.:

  5. The Retrieve the custom field ID value can also be retrieved , by clicking on on the configure option, the . The URL contains the custom field ID value., as shows below:
