This article explains how to add line breaks in the description Description field of an issue using the ClonePlus for Jira app.

Instructions

1. Log in to Jira as an Administrator.
2. Click Cog menu  > Issues.
3. Click Clone Plus from the sidebar on the left and edit click Edit in the Clone plus properties tab.

4. While entering Enter the text, use required text in Description. Use the '\n' (newline character) wherever you need a line breakto display text on a new line. Here is an example:

5. Click Save to apply the changes .Perform and perform the Bobswift clone Clone operation.

The description

...

now shows a new line in the description. The output of the given example is as follows:
