The URL user and URL user password parameters (supported in version 7.2.2 and below) have been removed from Excel for Confluence release 7.3.0. They are no longer available in the Excel macro editor.

The Excel for Confluence macro (version 7.3.0 and above) now uses only Profile to access Excel data from a remote location without exposing any sensitive information. To create a Profile, refer to Create a profile with a URL.

The removal does not impact the existing Excel macro configurations or pre-configured Excel macros using the URL user and URL user password (version 7.2.2 and below). The Confluence page retains the values of the URL user and URL user password parameters in the Storage Format.
Retain, modify and copy the pre-configured Excel macro. To know more, and plan the Excel macro configuration, refer to Removed the URL user and URL user password parameters.
