  1. The Report Designer interface opens when you create a report using a template or build one from scratch. To create a new report, click Create new Report. For more information, refer to Report Templates.

  2. Select the Report Type type as Time with Assignee.

  3. The reports interface displays the Average Time with assignee (hrs) report for all Projects by default.

  4. You can create reports of various measure types. Select the Measure type to view from the drop-down.

    • Average Time with assignee (hrs)

    • Average Time with assignee (business hrs)

    • Average Time with assignee (days)

    • Average Time with assignee (business days)

  5. To view the required fields in the report, addthe fields from the left panel by clicking ‘+' sign next to the field name. The fields list contains all standard Jira fields, custom Jira fields for the instance, and calculated fields created using Reports and Timesheets for Jira app. The fields with an (info) symbol are explained in detail here. Fields can be dragged and dropped in the Fields section to rearrange the columns.

  6. Specify filter criteria to search for issues using a JQL statement, Jira Favorite Filter, or Reports Custom Filter builder in the Issues Search panel.

  7. Click Run to view the results in the bottom pane.

  8. Click Save to save the report for future use. To view saved reports, navigate to Reports > My Reports.
