Steps to Create Pie Report

1. Click New report > Custom Reportto open the Report Designer interfaceThe Report Designer interface opens when you create a report using a template or build one from scratch. To create a new report, click Create new Report. For more information, refer to Report Templates.

2. Select page Type as Chart. Select Pie from the secondary drop-down

3. Simple Pie Chart - one Dimension field for Sector and one Measure field for Data, optional Dimension fields for filters

   1. Add the Dimension fields from the left panel by clicking the drop-down sign next to the field name and selecting the appropriate destination (Sector or Optional Filters)

   2. Add the Measure field from the left panel by clicking the '+' sign next to the field name. It will get added to Data automatically

      

4. Segmented Pie Chart - one Dimension field for Sector, one Dimension field for 'Segment By' and one Measure field for Data, optional Dimension fields for filters

   1. Add the Dimension fields from the left panel by clicking the drop-down sign next to the field name and selecting the appropriate destination (Sector, ‘Segment By’ or Optional Filters)

   2. Add the Measure field from the left panel by clicking the '+' sign next to the field name. It will get added to Data automatically

      

5. Click Run to view the results in the bottom pane (below is a screenshot of a Segmented Pie report)

6. Click Save to save the report for future use. Saved reports can be accessed via My Area Reports → My Reports.
