To collaborate on the same gadgets with the same datasource, create a new datasource with the permission of “My organization.” Thus, any logged user in that instance can use that datasource.

Note

Changing the datasource on the existing gadget will remove the configuration. The user will have to reconfigure the gadget or re-create the dashboard with new datasource

Functionality -

The “This Jira instance” datasource is private for each user, so each user has their own “This Jira instance” data sourcedatasource. If a gadget uses a private datasource, then only the datasource owner can use it. This is intended for security reasons, so there are no data leaks and users getting information using other users' credentials.
