Problem
While trying to edit a gadget on an existing dashboard, the user receives an error message: “The data source doesn't exist, or you do not have permissions.” Error received while trying to edit a gadget on an existing dashboard. Users can edit the dashboard by selecting “This Jira Instance Datasource,” but configuration changes for gadgets affect the dashboard.

To collaborate on the same gadgets with the same datasource, create a new datasource with the permission of “My organization.” Thus, any logged user in that instance can use that datasource.
1 > Navigate to Apps > Dashboard Hub
2 > Click on Three dots next to the Edit button > Click on Add Datasource
3 > Select Jira > Add Name and Instance URL
4 > Set permissions to organization > Click on Add
