Column views in the Gantt module allow you to add different fields as columns and configure their display to help you track various data related to your project items. You can change the column display and aggregation settings, determining how data is presented in the type module's task listits data aggregation (if applicable).

Active column view
When you apply one of the available Views from the Column View drop-down, it becomes "Active," and views in the Gantt module, the view becomes active. On the box configuration page, a green check mark will appear next to its name. This active view means that this view it will be applied whenever a user opens the module or returns to itthe Gantt module.
Inheritance mode
The Column Views can be inherited by the sub-level Boxes when Sub-level boxes will inherit column views if you set the Inheritance mode is set to "Inherited only" or "Own with inherited" in the Box box type configuration of the upper-level Box. Click the 'Details' button to edit the name, visibility options, and description field of a given Card View and apply the changes by hitting the 'Save' button:

Add new column views
On the box configuration page, click the Add new Column View button. On the New Column View modal, provide a summary of the new view, set the visibility to public or private, and (optionally) write some description.

Click Create to enter the column view creator.
In the column view creator, add the fields from the field list on the right to the column view area on the left using the + (plus) icon next to the field name. Alternatively, drag and drop the selected field (the area on the left will be highlighted with a green color).

These fields correspond to the columns you will see on your task list in the Gantt module.
When you add or drag a selected field, you can rearrange its order by dragging it again. You can also delete it from the column view. Additionally, if the field supports data aggregation, you can set the aggregation method for the fields you added.

If you want to check how your new column view will look, click the Preview panel at the bottom of the column view creator.

When you are happy with your new column view, click the Save button and return to the column view list. Your new column view is at the bottom of the list by default, but you can rearrange the order of the views.

A new column view does not automatically become active (current). To activate it, you need to select it from the current view drop-down menu in the Gantt module.

Edit column views
You can edit any of the column views either on the box configuration page or in the Gantt module.
On the box configuration page > column views list, click on the column view you want to modify to open the column view creator. In the creator, add, remove, rearrange fields (columns), and change their aggregation method (if applicable) the same way you did when creating your new view. Save your changes before you exit the creator.
If you want to change the column view’s name, visibility, or description, click the Details button to prompt the modal.

A copy of the column will appear at the bottom of the list. You can now edit it and save your changes. To apply this new view to your task list, return to the Gantt module and activate it.
Delete column views
