The resolution date is the date when the issue's resolution field changes from EMPTY to any value.

Date Custom Field

  • Navigate to to Jira Admin > Add-ons Manage Apps > Enhancer Plugin For Jira Menu > Custom Field Configuration and go to the Date tabFields (JEP).
  • Click on the Image Removedthe Image Added button.
  • Fill in the dialog box:
    Image Removed
    • Pick JEP - First "Resolution" Status Date or JEP - Last "Resolution" Date in the custom field drop-down menu.
    • Create a name for the custom field
  • And then click on the Add Custom Click on the Date tab on the left-hand side of the dialogue. 
  • Select First Resolution Date or Last Resolution Date, then click Add custom field.

  • Fill in the dialog box:
    Image Added
    • Create a name for the custom field.
    • Enable Clear when reopened if you want the field to be cleared when the issue is reopened
  • And then click on the Save Custom Field button. That's it.


This custom field can be used to sort or search in issue navigator.
