This article explains how to convert URL text as links using CSV Table macro in Advanced Tables for Confluence app. 

Instructions

  1. Prepare a CSV file with URLs, as shown below. The URL will show as links in the csv file. However, on the confluence page, it will not convert as links. 

  2. Log in to Confluence.
  3. Go to an existing Page or create a new Page. 
    1. If existing page, attach the CSV file to the page.
    2. If creating a new Page, create a sample page and publish it before attaching the csv file to the page, 
  4. Edit the Page and insert the CSV Table macro from Advanced Tables app.

  5. Edit the CSV macro, go to Data source option in the CSV settings section and provide the details as shown:

  6. Edit the CSV macro, go to Data format, provide the value [%URL%] in the Augments to data row values field.


  7. Go to Data settings, select Output format as wiki and click Save settings.

  8. Click Publish on the Confluence page.
  9. The URL from the CSV file will be converted and displayed in a URL format as shown below:
