Displays a pie/bar chart for subtasks using the parent task fields. This gadget is great if you have a filter that returns subtasks (e.g. issuetype = subtask), but you want to have a chart that will be grouped by the parent task's statuses.
To add and configure the Main Task's Field Distributions Chart Gadget to your favorite dashboard
- Click on the Add Gadget button within the dashboard.
- Type main into the search box and click on Add gadget near the JEP - Main task Field Distributions Bar Chart or JEP - Main task Field Distributions Bar Chart.
- Configure the gadget and click on the Save button.
- Select your favorite project or filter.
- You can give the custom gadget a title that you will see on your dashboard.
- Either select a custom field or a Jira field for grouping the parent issue.
- If you want to automatically refresh the gadget results, select the appropriate Refresh Interval.
