Agile Poker Cloud
This part of the documentation relates to Agile Poker for Jira Cloud. If you use Jira Server go to the Agile Poker for Jira Server and Data Center documentation.
Agile Poker for Jira Cloud requires Jira Software project (either Classic or Next-gen) in order to work properly.
Jira Cloud provides 2 types of projects that differ significantly, that’s why Agile Poker navigation also varies depending on the project type.
Classic Project navigation
For the Classic Project, Agile Poker entry points are located in the left-side project navigation menu and in the top right corner of the backlog or a board view.
Next-Gen Project navigation
For the Next-Gen Project, Agile Poker navigation button can be found in the project’s left-side menu under:
Once opened, the session selection page appears, where you can choose one of 4 estimation sessions you can run:
All sessions in Agile Poker for Jira Cloud are tied to the project boards, and multiple sessions of each type can be run in parallel on board. The sessions are collaborative, so you can either create a new session or join one of the existing ones. A numeric badge highlights number of active sessions. You can immediately join one of the last 3 active sessions, or check all sessions available.
