🤔 Context: A user wants to migrate from their current Jira instance (on-premise) to another instance (cloud).

🌧️ User Problem: I want to migrate from my current Jira instance (on-premise) to cloud and migrate the SLA data.

Solution: Use Time to SLA’s Cloud Migration Guide to make the switch!

Cloud migration can transform a business, and thankfully, migrating SLA configurations and data is an easy process that can be completed in several simple steps.

Before you begin:

Please update Jira Cloud Migration Assistant (JCMA) and Time to SLA to the latest versions.

Then, start the migration process:

  1. Go to Settings > System > Migrate to Cloud.

  2. Click Assess your Apps and select Needed in Cloud for Time to SLA.

  3. JCMA will guide you through the rest of the migration process. For details on Jira Cloud Migration Assistant, please visit https://support.atlassian.com/migration/docs/use-the-jira-cloud-migration-assistant-to-migrate/

And you're done! JCMA will migrate all of the SLA configurations, calendars, notifiers, settings, and SLA data as a part of the migration process.

If you need any guidance or help during your migration process, please do not hesitate to contact us – we'll be glad to help!
