AMU - Adding validators

Additional validators enable you to consider different formats and input criteria.

1. To create new validator go to Jira Administration > Issues > Workflows.
   
   
   
   
2. Click Workflows. Click Edit for certain Project you'd like to add validator to.
   
   
   
   
   
3. Select Diagram view. 
   
   
   
   
4. Select the transition you'd like to add validator to and click. Configuration panel appears. Select Validators. 
   
   
   
   
   
   
5.  Click Add validator.
   
   
   
   
   
   
6. Select validator you'd like. Click Add. 
   
   
   
   
   
   
7. Add parameters to validator. Click Add.
   
   
   
   
   
   
8. To save changes, click Publish Draft.
   
   
   
   
9. That's it. Now the transition requires saved criteria to be valid.
