Rich Filters Add-on 1.8 for JIRA adds three new gadgets to the Rich Filter family – the Rich Filter Simple Counter gadget, the Rich filter Simple Gauge gadget, and the Rich Filter Smart Counters & Gauges gadget. Moreover, the Rich Filter Pie Chart gadget now offers two new more compact layouts for results display.

Rich Filter Simple Counter Gadget
The Rich Filter Simple Counter Gadget displays issue counts or field sums for a list of issues. The gadget brings a lot of flexibility, the users can easily obtain the number of issues, story points or time spent for different combinations of quick filters.

Rich Filter Simple Gauge Gadget
The Rich Filter Simple Gauge Gadget displays issue count and field sum gauges. The gauge level is based on predefined criteria or static filters. The gadget has multiple layouts and can display results based on issue count, number fields or time tracking fields.

Rich Filter Smart Counters & Gauges Gadget
The Rich Filter Smart Counters & Gauges Gadget displays multiple counters and gauges. Each counter or gauge is based on the clauses of a smart filter and therefore inherits the smart filter's settings – name, color and JQL. The gadget has multiple layouts and can display results based on issue count, number fields or time tracking fields.

Rich Filter Pie Chart Gadget Layouts
The Rich Filter Pie Chart Gadget now offers two more options for display layouts in addition to the classic JIRA pie chart layout: the Pie Chart – compact and the Sliced Bar Chart layouts. Both of them are useful for data-dense dashboards as they take significantly less space than the classic pie chart layout.

New layout setting for Smart Columns display: Equal label sizes
When adding smart columns to the rich filter's views, the you can now use the Equal label sizes checkbox, which forces all tags to have the same width when displayed in Rich Filter Results gadgets. This can make a smart column look nicer, depending on your smart filter.

Dynamic filter support for Tempo fields: Teams and Accounts
If you use Tempo Timesheets for JIRA then you can now use dynamic filters based on Team and Account Tempo fields.
Supported JIRA Versions
Rich Filters for Jira Dashboards version 1.8 is supported on Jira versions 7.0.0 – 7.4.x. Earlier versions of the plugin exist for JIRA 6.4.x.
Installation and Upgrade
The plugin may be installed from the Atlassian Marketplace or from the Find new add-ons page of your JIRA instance.
If you have installed the Rich Filters Add-on on JIRA version 6.4, you will need to update it after upgrading to JIRA 7.x. The add-on for JIRA 6.x will not work on JIRA 7.x, but all your data and configuration will be preserved.
