To kickstart your Scaffolding Forms & Templates for Confluence experience, it is vital to ensure the correct application configuration.

Installation and licensing

The Scaffolding Forms & Templates for Confluence installation is done within your Confluence instance.

Generate the license from My Atlassian and installing Atlassian Licensing on the Manage Apps page. The license application activates your installation of the app.

2. Configuring the Scaffolding's administrator settings

Accessing Scaffolding administrator settings

The global administrator setting applies to all spaces in your Confluence instance. You can modify the properties of the application and configure the default setting of the Edit Contents mode.

The following properties can be modified:

  • mode in which the Edit Contents appear on a page

  • enable and set the data limit of the List Data functionality

  • enable and set the query limit of the User Options functionality

3. Configuring Scaffolding with Content Delivery Network (CDN) (optional)

Using Scaffolding with Content Delivery Network

This support is for the data center edition of Confluence. There are no configuration changes required with the Scaffolding application.

If you have users around the world who are experiencing performance issues using the data center variation of Confluence, you can utilize CDN to boost their usage experience.
