Installation

The Comala Document Approval for Confluence Cloud app is managed as a user-installed app.

The administrator can monitor and update the app. Atlassian make our updates to our app automatically available in your instance.

Please check regularly for appropriate updates and app releases on Atlassian Marketplace and in the documentation release notes.

If you are using a trial version of the app and wish to uninstall our app, Atlassian Confluence Cloud requires to first cancel the trial period before you can choose the Uninstall option.

Once installed Comala Document Approval is available in all spaces in the cloud site and the space configuration dashboard can be accessed via the space settings App links.

Accessing Comala Document Approval in a Confluence site from behind a firewall

Some users access to Confluence is from behind a corporate firewall that limits the URLs that they have access to.

Recent updates to the app use asynchronous notifications of state changes that require the use of one or more URLs.

If the app is used behind a firewall, the app may not behave as expected as the app requires access to these URLs.

The URLs need to added to the whitelist for your company firewall.

The following URLs need to whitelisted for your company firewall for the app to function correctly

  • https://doc-a-cdn.comalatech.app

  • wss://ws.async-notifications-cac.production.comala.zone
