Migration affected by page permissions error

For Comala Document Management v6.17.6 and earlier the following error message may be displayed when attempting a cloud migration.

"Comala Document Management does not appear to have permission to make changes to this page. Please check that the "Comala Document Management for Confluence Cloud" App user has permission to edit pages in the current space, or permission to edit within the page if page restrictions are applied"

This is due to a known bug Jan 30, 2022. For a page with restrictions, the last workflow state is incorrectly migrated by the Atlassian Migration Assistant.

Solution

A workaround is to remove the restrictions from the server instance before migrating.

With the release of Comala Document Management v6.17.7+. The Atlassian Migration Assistant pre-check Vendor App check screen now lists affected pages. These are detailed in a downloadable CSV file.

Before migration activity, update to the latest release of Comala Document Management and the latest version of the Atlassian Migration Assistant.
