The versioning of Power Scripts on cloud may be a little disconcerting / confusing but there’s logic in it. In the cloud environment there are two versions:

  1. The version of the Atlassian Descriptor of the application, which is published on Atlassian Marketplace. We have no fine control over the version string there, it is automatically incremented with every change, contains “AC“ (“Atlassian Cloud“) in the name. Example: 3.0.2-AC.

  2. Our version of the application, which is totally under our control and that can be incremented without the descriptor above changed. You will get the internal version in the application, by going to Power Apps Config → General → Release Notes. We consider this version to be the relevant one, and it’s the version we are listing below.

On cloud, all clients are updated at the releases at the latest version. You are always running the latest version, take advantage of latest features and (hope not!) confront our latest bugs.

You also need to know that we may, in very special circumstances, exercise individual control over the internal version you are running with.
