Docs+ Two-way integration for Slack and Confluence requires two applications: Confluence and Slack. You will start with the Confluence app, which will lead you through the Slack app installation.
Click Copyto copy “https://account.nextup.ai” to your clipboard, then click Open Application Links in Confluence.
Click the Create link button and leave the selection on Direct application link (Cloud) or Atlassian Product (Data Center).
If you are on an older version of Confluence Data Center, you may need to paste the application URL before clicking Create new link
Paste “https://account.nextup.ai” then click Continue and Continue (leave the “I am an administrator” box checked).
Click Allow on the Welcome to Confluence page.
The user who clicks Allow here will become the Main Authorized User (MAU), and this account’s permissions will be utilized for several important app functions. See this article to learn more, including how to change the MAU.
Click Go to Docs+ home in Slack or switch to Slack and open the Docs Plus app.
Now, the final step is to connect your Slack User to your Confluence User: Click Connect Now and click Allow.
Congratulations! The Docs+ app is now available in your Slack workspace!
After Connecting your Slack and Confluence accounts, Docs Plus will send you a welcome message with helpful steps for configuring notifications.
