This article explains how to access the parameter "URL to Excel file" in the app Excel for Confluence.

Instructions

Here are the instructions to access the excel file from the specified URL:

  1. Ensure you have Excel for Confluence app installed in your confluence instance.

  2. Go to the page that has the Excel file, right-click on the file and select Copy Link Address. Note that this address is different from URL of the webpage. 
  3. Insert and Edit the Excel macro.

  4. Enter the below details:


  5. Save the macro settings and publish the page. Below is the required output:
